10:15 Uhr lokale Zeit, Fahrt vom Hotel zum Flughafen, zu Melendez FBO Büro im Arrival Terminal. Gebühren bezahlen und Fahrt zur Malibu.
Malibu wird für den Abflug vorbereitet: Turtlepack wird in die Malibutanks entleert - (enthielt nur noch 15 Liter Avgas). Da er in Europa nicht benötigt wird, können wir ihn zusammenfalten und im vorderen Gepäckfach verstauen.
11:00 Tankwagen kommt - Malibu wird vollgetankt
12:00 Wir holen die Clearance und bekommen einen Slot für 12:40Z. Bevor wir anlassen, rufen wir auf dem Handfunkgerät die Clearance an und werden aufgefordert zu warten. Nach 10 Min. Start-up-Clearance und Flugplan-Clearance-Meldung an Ground: „Malibu N66TC ready to taxi„. Taxi zur Runway 21 rechts, dann die Aufforderung über die Runway zur 21 links zu taxien, da noch andere hinter uns abfliegen wollen.
„Clear for take off“: - Wir sind in Luft. Wechsel zu Canarias Departure. Wir überfliegen Fuerteventura und Lanzarote
13:25 Übergabe an Controller Casablanca
14:25 Quer ab von Agadir, unter uns weite Wüsten und rechts Teile des Atlasgebirges
16:18 Waypoint LAMAS gegenüber von Gibraltar
16:42 Querab Gibraltar, das wir klar erkennen können
16:45 Übergabe an Sevilla ATC
17:40 Sinkflug für den Approach - im Sonnenuntergang. Wir hören die ATIS (Air Terminal Information System) Man gibt uns ILS für die Runway 10. Schliesslich in 15 Meilen Entfernung erhalten wir die Clearance für den Instrumenten Anflug auf die Runway 10.
18:10 Nach einer seidenweichen Nachtlandung auf der 10, verlassen wir die Runway über den ersten Taxiway links und der Tower weist uns ein Follow-me car zu, das uns zu unserer Parkposition führt. Und da steht auch schon unser FBO-Service von Melendez. Gepäck umladen - Malibu abschliessen und wir werden zum Taxistand gefahren. wieder hat uns die Malibu sicher ins schöne Alicante gebracht!
Flight from Las Palmas to Alicante
Departure: 13:25 (MEZ)
Arrival: 19:10 (MEZ)
10:15 local time, drive from the hotel to the airport, to Melendez FBO office in the arrival terminal. Pay fees and drive to Malibu.
Malibu is prepared for departure: Turtlepack is emptied into the Malibutanks - (contained 15 liters of Avgas only). Since it is not needed in Europe, we can fold it up and stow it in the front luggage compartment.
11:00 Tank truck arrives - Malibu is refueled
12:00 We get the clearance and get a slot for 12:40Z. Before we start, we call the clearance on the handheld radio and are asked to wait. After 10 min. Start-up clearance and flight plan clearance message to Ground: "Malibu N66TC ready to taxi". Taxi to Runway 21 on the right, then we are requested to taxi to runway 21 left, as others want to leave behind us.
"Clear for take off": - We are in the air. Change to Canarias Departure. We fly over Fuerteventura and Lanzarote
13:25 Transfer to Controller Casablanca
14:25 On the level of Agadir, wide deserts below us and parts of the Atlas Mountains to the right
16:18 Waypoint LAMAS opposite of Gibraltar
16:42 We pass Gibraltar, which we can see clearly
16:45 Transfer to Sevilla ATC
17:40 Descent for the approach - in the sunset. We hear the ATIS (Air Terminal Information System). We are given ILS for Runway 10. Finally, 15 miles away we get the clearance for the instrument approach to Runway 10.
18:10 After a silky smooth night landing on the 10, we leave the runway on the first taxiway on the left and the tower gives us a follow-me car which leads us to our parking position. And there is already our FBO service from Melendez. Transfer luggage - lock Malibu and we are driven to the taxi stand. Again, the Malibu has brought us safely to beautiful Alicante!
